bro, why do not you try the rental sites? I doubt you find cheap and safe place. Best bait will be to find a roomate. But it sucks when you have roomates.

When you do the search in apartments.com, there are some cheap places but do not have pics. Call that no. they normally find a place for you but they charge some dough. Go check out the place by yourself. There is a site to check the crime rates. I will try to find it and post it later. I cannot remember it on the top of my head.
