Just Wondering if anyone has ever tried using an AT&T's Gophone in Nepal. I see their website sells refurb GoPhones for less than 30 bucks and since ithey all use a SIM, i believe they should work in nepal too. 

Has anyone tried that or have any Idea about it? I bet they need to be unlocked, but will they work after that ?

If you are trying to send it to somebody backhome don't do it. I took two of them with me last year nd had to bring it back. What i think is ny phones other than smart phones aint worth sending ova there. You can get much better phones with so many functions than those gophones in much better price prolly around Rs.2500.
