Hi All,
I have some question regarding the OPT period.. I am graduating in This August and i am not sure when should i start my OPT. Some of my frens recommended to start my OPT from October so that next october if by luck i got H1 then i dont have to worry.. Else if i start my OPT from August then till next August 2008 i will be in OPT but i heard that i cannot work during the 60 days grace period while i can still stay in status. So that leaves me to the point when i will have to Quit the job if i have at that time for 2 month period till my h1 get started from October. I am not sure about these so i would like to seek some information from all frens who have been through this situation or have some idea on this issue.

I really appreciate your help .

Thanks number ,

I am also thinking to start on october but i am also some positive feeling that some company may hire me for this August as i already had some interview. So thats the only hard part for me to decide..
Anyway thanks for the response.
