Required degree:
Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics, Natural Resource Economics or closely related field.

Desired expertise:
Knowledge of GIS and experience with spatial analysis is great advantage.

A post-doc position in the south gives you approximately $40,000 per year plus benefits. However, it varies from one university to another, even from one department to another department. If I get $40,000 in my place, that is comparable to $45,000 in Atlanta or $70,000 in Los Angeles (in terms of cost of living adjustment).

Forget-me-knotji, I have been a story for myself these days. I am trying to finish my degree requirement in September so that I can join similar position by new fiscal year.
